The service

GAR Tattoo is the tattoo practice of Giselle, a fine-line and minimalist tattoo artist working in Mexico City (Condesa, CDMX) and on guest dates in San Francisco, California. GAR Tattoo is operated by REELxpozure LLC. Services include consultations, custom tattoo design, and tattooing, in English or Spanish.

You must be 18 or over

You must be at least 18 years old to be tattooed. We do not tattoo minors, with or without parental consent. You will be asked for valid government-issued photo ID before your session, and we may decline service if age cannot be confirmed.

Consultations

Consultations are free and carry no obligation. They are used to discuss your idea, placement, sizing, suitability, and a price estimate. Any estimate given at consultation is a guide; the final quote is confirmed before your tattoo begins.

Booking and deposit

To secure a date, a deposit is required. By paying a deposit you agree to the following:

• The deposit secures your date and is applied to the final cost of your tattoo. In Mexico City the deposit is $2,000 MXN, applied to your tattoo. In San Francisco a deposit is taken and applied to your tattoo, confirmed at booking.
• The deposit is non-refundable. It reserves time that cannot be offered to anyone else and covers design work done in advance.
• You may reschedule once, free of charge, with at least 72 hours' notice before your appointment, and your deposit moves to the new date.
• Rescheduling with less than 72 hours' notice, or rescheduling more than once, may require a new deposit.

Cancellations and no-shows

• If you cancel, the deposit is not refunded.
• No-shows forfeit the deposit, and a new deposit is needed to book again.
• Arriving significantly late may shorten or forfeit your session, since the next client's time is protected too. If you are running late, message as early as you can and we will do our best.

Pricing and payment

• Mexico City: Custom day: $9,500 MXN · Studio minimum: $3,000 MXN. Prices are set in Mexican pesos (MXN).
• San Francisco: Limited guest dates · custom-quoted · waitlist, with a each project quoted at your consultation. Prices are set in US dollars (USD).
• Custom work is quoted at consultation. Your deposit is always credited toward the final price.
• Deposits are paid securely online by card through Stripe. The remaining balance is settled at your appointment, in Mexican pesos (MXN) in CDMX or US dollars (USD) in San Francisco; accepted methods for the balance are confirmed when you book.

Aftercare and results

Every client leaves with written aftercare instructions. How your tattoo heals and ages depends heavily on following that aftercare and on factors outside our control, such as your skin, sun exposure, and lifestyle.

Trust that your tattoo is guaranteed. Your tattoo includes a one-time free touch-up within the first 3 months, applicable only if a technical execution flaw is identified. This guarantee does not apply to those who do not follow the provided aftercare instructions, nor to tattoos on areas prone to fading, such as hands and feet. Touch-ups outside this scope, and changes you request later, are quoted separately.

Photography and portfolio consent

Giselle may photograph or film your tattoo, fresh and healed, and may use those images in her portfolio, on the website, and on social media to show her work. Images focus on the tattoo, not on identifying you.

You can opt out at any time. Tell Giselle before or at your session if you do not want your tattoo photographed or shared, and we will respect that with no effect on your booking. You can also ask us to stop using an existing image going forward by emailing hello@gartattoo.com.

Intellectual property

Custom designs created by Giselle remain her original artwork and intellectual property. You are of course free to wear your tattoo. Reproducing a design, or having it tattooed again by another artist, is not permitted without permission. If you bring reference material, you confirm you have the right to use it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, REELxpozure LLC's liability is limited to the amount you paid for the tattoo in question. We are not liable for outcomes caused by inaccurate health information, failure to follow aftercare, or factors outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot legally be limited.

Governing law

For tattoos and bookings in Mexico City, these terms are governed by the laws of Mexico and the courts of Mexico City (CDMX). For tattoos and bookings in San Francisco, the laws of the State of California apply to that work. The rest of these terms apply wherever you are served.
