Questions, answered
In CDMX, a full custom day, the standard for most real pieces, is $9,500 MXN for 4+ hours in the chair. Smaller single pieces start at the $3,000 MXN studio minimum (low to medium complexity). Every appointment is held with a $2,000 MXN deposit that comes straight off the total value of the piece, so it is never an extra fee. Dates for international guest spots are limited and managed via a waiting list. Every project is quoted through a free consultation you can request in under 60 seconds. International rates start at 300 USD.
A blowout is ink placed too deep that spreads beneath the skin and blurs the line, it’s largely permanent, so prevention is everything: correct needle depth, a measured hand, and honest placement on skin that holds fine detail. Fading is different and time-based, slowed by good placement and sun care. Much of my portfolio is shown healed so you can judge the line, not just the fresh photo.
Yes. Consultations, design, and aftercare are available in English or Spanish. Most of my CDMX clients are bilingual expats and locals, and I work in whichever language you’re comfortable in.
That’s your call, and placement is part of the design. We choose a spot that reads the way you want: visible to you, easy to keep private where you need it. Fine line is made for exactly this: small, discreet, precise.
That’s what the consult is for. Nothing is drawn until it feels right, there is no pressure, and we take the decision slowly. A small, quiet, custom piece placed where you want it is the opposite of a rushed choice.
The deposit is to reserve your appointment on the agreed date and time; it is applied to the total cost of your tattoo ($2,000 MXN in CDMX; quote pending for SF). You have the opportunity to reschedule once by giving at least 72 hours’ notice. If you do not show up to the appointment, the deposit is non-refundable.
Keep in mind that the tattoo is the result of a joint ritual in which both you and I play an important role. On my part, I execute the tattoo with total dedication and detail to create a quality piece. On your part as the client, you must give it the best possible care to ensure the tattoo has a good healing process and ages in the best possible way.
